I do?

Following in the (stylish?) footsteps of big sister BHS, Topshop has announced it's set to become the second Arcadia brand to release its own line of bridal wear, designed in collaboration with CSM alumni Richard Nicoll.

Topshop HQ tweeted 'Want to get married just so we can wear our @studio_nicoll bridal collection set to land in June. Can't give you a sneak peek but wow!' a few days ago, and whilst said sneak peek has yet to be unveiled it's become something of an excited wait.

Nicoll's s/s12 RTW collection floated down the runway in a cloud of sheer showstoppers and  tantalising black lacy numbers, sparking rumours that Toppers' bridal range will be designed with a more low-key, casual girl in mind: less frou frou more edge.

Whilst it has to be said that I'm not entirely on the high-street bride bandwagon, (isn't it bad enough turning up at a party in the same dress as someone else, let alone sharing it on your big day) I'm looking forward to seeing what the collaboration releases, and what the price tag is.  And if he reproduces and affordable version of that mint floor length number I'm having it anyway - who needs a groom?

One thing I'm hoping future brides won't be trying?  That blue lipstick.  Seriously, it just about scrapes it down the runway, never mind the aisle.
